Making it easier for you to access health care at Lister Lane Surgery
We have a telephone consultation system to help you get the appointment you need.
Lister Lane surgery offers telephone consultation directly with a GP on a daily basis. You may call the reception staff to book a call at your convenience. Please note the call be returned anytime upto 6.30pm.
When you call the surgery, your details will be taken and a GP will call you back.
If you need to be seen, the GP will book you a face-face appointment with a clinician at the practice.
Children under 2 and patients with visual conditions such as rashes will be directly booked into a face-to-face appointment by default, unless you specifically request a telephone call.

PLEASE NOTE THE RECEPTION STAFF MAY ASK THE REASON FOR YOUR CALL BACK. THIS WILL HELP FILTER APPOINTMENTS, SIGNPOST AND GET YOU SEEN OR SPOKEN TO THE MOST APPROPRIATE PERSON.
Please do not book a telephone consultation for repeat prescriptions or sicknotes, private letters and form completion, this waste a GP appointment time and can be better utilised for someone who actually needs to be seen.
Please call the usual surgery number and book a telephone consultation if you require one.
